The Easter Tiger Rescue

My lovely 8-year-old daughter wrote this story this week. Being the proud parent that I am, I thought I'd post it for the 2 people who actually read this, who probably got it in e-mail already.

The Easter Tiger Rescue
One day in Easter land the fairy king’s daughter, Sarah, and her friend, Ilena, were hiding the royal eggs and talking to each other about their Easter wish. ”Hey, I heard one of the eggs has a tiger in it. I hope I get that tiger,” Sarah said. “Hey some of the eggs have chicks in them. I really want one of them,” said Ilena. One egg accidently got stuck in a tree and cracked open and a baby tiger fell out into a nest. The eggs in the nest all hatched and the chicks thought the baby tiger was their mommy and the baby tiger thought the chicks were her mommy. Then the branch started to break. The fairy princess saw it on the brink of breaking so she called, “Help!” to Ilena and Ilena came running and got the baby tiger down safely. Sarah took the tiger home and Ilena took the chicks home. Princess Sarah and her friend got their Easter wish.
The end
