Luke 9:49-50 "John answered, ' Master, we saw someone using your name to force demons out of people. We told him to stop because he does not belong our group.' Jesus said to him, 'Don't stop him. If a person is not against you, then he is for you."
What is the criteria for "not against you"? The man was using Jesus name, but wasn't a disciple apparently. Does that expand the definition of who follows Christ? Is heresy a smaller group than most people believe? Does it have to do with the heart? How do we apply this verse to our lives today?
And what's up with the parable of the unscrupulous steward? Luke 16:1-8
